My Collections
This page includes most, if not all of my collections.
I call these my collections because they are never ending or constantly growing.
Each one has a description of what the collection is about.
Hidden Stories of the Old and Abandoned
This series explores the age and abandonment of America. Many things have been left in the past, forgotten, and rotting without a care in the world. The current world we live in does not recognize the past enough, so these things eventually begin to fade away, some at faster rates than others. The age and deterioration of such things are dwindling away the memories and stories they must tell. If everyone stops thinking about the past, what have we really left behind? Two of these photos represent a good story in history for my former school, twin river valley thunder or TRV for short. Our last musical at my beloved school was little shop of horrors. In this collection, you can see Audrey sitting under a pile of what looks to be random junk and trash. It’s not very visible due to the amount of clutter, but behind her is the many versions of her that the school used in the play. From baby Audrey to grown Audrey, they are all sitting there withering away, being forgotten, never to be used again. It's sad to see it in my opinion but this is a good example of what happens when things are neglected, forgotten, and left to rot for the rest of time. She has had so much life left in her but now she just sits, aging away, waiting for her next time to shine before she disappears forever...

The Multiverse of Public Art
This series explores the many different ways people can look at public art. From my viewpoint, each one of these works of art can be shown in many other different ways similar to a multiverse. In one universe or world, you have one version, the next you have another, and so on, but no one ever knows where the original is. If you are from the area that has these pieces then you will know where these came from and what they actually look like in person, but to someone who is not, then they see these images and have to guess what the original would look like.
I enjoy looking at the many different versions these because its is hard to stick with just one edit when I can have multiple different edited versions of the same things. Plus it is hard to decide upon just one favorite.

Reptile and Amphibian Photography
(The Fish Room Fort Dodge, Iowa)
This series started off as a project for a class I took at Iowa Central Community College, called Practicum 1.
Practicum 1 is a class dedicated to students working for businesses for free in return for valuable education in the real world. Similar to an internship.
Here I chose to work with The Fish Room in Fort Dodge, Iowa for reasons that I loved the animals, the environment is friendly, and the owner needed some help getting up to speed with the technology around him.
Other than photography, I have also created a website, QR codes, and more for him.

Commercial Photography
(Food & Products)
This can be offered as a service upon request.
This series explores the commercial side of photography for both food and products, showing how important it is to have professional photos for businesses.
Enticing potential future and current guests, clients, or customers to come to your business, that being a shop, store, restaurant, etc.
People love to see what they want before ordering at restaurants to ensure the dish they ordered looks correct.
Its all about how you present yourself as a business and those pictures can say a lot.

Modeling at
Iowa Central Community College
(Fort Dodge, Iowa)
This series is paired with my partner as we have modeled together for Iowa Central Community College's photography program and plan to model for many others as well. We have modeled as film noir, cyberpunk, light art, bar scenes, Halloween, and others. We enjoy doing this as it brings out our talent/skill and helps those around us gain their talent/skill as well.
Most of the poses, furniture, and ideas have come from the students/studios and we just help to execute them further into existence.
( We do bring in props and setups if asked.)
Much like the special effects makeup and cosplay collection, this also makes me happy and is also a great way to show off and showcase my work!
*I did not take these photos. These photos are not mine. We are only the models in these photos.*
Any makeup or special effects makeup that is on me or my partner, I did. Plus creating the props.
Some blooper photos included.

Special Effects Makeup & Cosplay
This series explores the many ways I have manipulated special effects makeup and cosplay to create and bring to life all of these characters. Special effects makeup is a fancy way of saying movie makeup. Such things as zombie makeup, blood, gore, character makeup, and lots more is what makes special effects makeup. The people who create such art as this are called special effects makeup artists. I, myself, am no professional, but I have been learning on my own just how to create such things. What I have created can be seen in the display below.
I enjoy creating such things because with the makeup on, you feel different, almost like you are acting and portraying the life of someone or something else. Sometimes even my behavior or mood changes to fit the character. Being someone or something else besides myself sometimes makes me really happy (kind of like taking a break from being yourself).
*The two that look cyberpunk with with a camera on my partner's head were for a photo shoot for another photographer. I created the camera piece that he is wearing on his head.*
